Why Standard Vacuums and Shop Vacs Are Dangerous for Mold

Household vacuums are not **sealed systems**. Air leaks around the filter housing, motor gasket, and wand connections. Because the exhaust blower motor creates high pressure, these unsealed paths allow millions of sub-micron spores to bypass the filter completely.
